Peer Review Policy

1. Objective: The primary objective of the peer review process at the Liberal Journal of Language & Literature Review is to ensure the publication of high-quality and academically rigorous research in the field of language and literature. Through a thorough and unbiased evaluation process, we aim to maintain the integrity and credibility of the journal.

2. Peer Review Process: All submissions to the Liberal Journal of Language & Literature Review undergo a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two expert reviewers who are selected based on their expertise in the relevant subject matter. The identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

3. Selection of Reviewers: Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, academic credentials, and experience in the field of language and literature. The Editorial Board is responsible for appointing reviewers, ensuring diversity in terms of perspectives and academic affiliations.

4. Reviewer Guidelines: Reviewers are provided with clear guidelines to evaluate the submitted manuscripts. The review criteria include but are not limited to:

  • Originality and significance of the research
  • Methodological soundness
  • Clarity and coherence of presentation
  • Relevance to the scope of the journal
  • Ethical considerations

Reviewers are expected to provide constructive and detailed feedback to authors and recommend a decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript.

5. Reviewer Anonymity: The double-blind peer review process ensures that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain confidential. Reviewers are encouraged to provide feedback objectively without any bias related to the author's identity, institutional affiliation, or other personal factors.

6. Author-Reviewer Communication: Direct communication between authors and reviewers is not permitted during the review process. Any concerns or queries should be directed to the Editorial Office, which will facilitate communication if necessary.

7. Editorial Decision: The Editorial Board considers the feedback provided by reviewers and makes the final decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript. Authors receive comprehensive feedback to help improve the quality of their work.
